We built this campaign for Color Sensational lipstick around the insight that color can affect -- and reflect -- your mood like nothing else. We began with a simple theme statement, Color Your Mood, and built a virtual try-on tool called the Maybelline Mood Machine, where women could find the lipstick that matches their mood, snap a selfie and post it to social media using our mood-themed filters. 


We tied the campaign to print, TV, and short digital videos that celebrate the moods of each color family.
